• Cookies from our booking partners, set when you click a booking link, so a booking can be correctly attributed for affiliate commission.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), to measure traffic and understand how the site is used (Microsoft Clarity may include anonymised session recordings).

Purposes

This data is used to run the site, to let our booking partners correctly attribute a booking made from Lapland Stays, and to measure site traffic in order to improve it.

Managing cookies

Cookies are set automatically when you visit the site. You can block or delete them at any time from your browser settings.

Retention period

Cookies from our booking partners follow their own retention period, usually 30 days. Analytics cookies follow the default retention period set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

Data sharing

We never sell data to third parties. The only information shared is what's strictly necessary to complete a booking with the chosen partner (Booking.com, Airbnb or GetYourGuide). Aggregated, anonymised usage data may also be processed by our analytics providers (Google, Microsoft) as described above.
